A Disruptive New Technology for LCD Displays
TARTAN is a proprietary display technology developed by AUO Display Plus (ADP) to provide customized size and shape displays for different field applications. Generally, rectangular 16:9 displays must be cut and quickly sealed, a process prone to quality problems such as liquid crystal contamination or display disconnection, severely limiting product life, long-term supply, and warranty. TARTAN display technology uses native photomask and high-specification liquid crystal production standards and procedures to ensure high quality, high stability, and long-term supply guarantee.
