2024 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan - AUO Expands Smart Healthcare Ecosystem 
The 2024 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan (Dec. 5-8, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center) showcased global innovations in healthcare technology. AUO lead its subsidiaries—AUO Display Plus (ADP), AUO Care, and DentLabX—and 15 partners to unveil smart healthcare solutions in 3D surgical imaging, AI-assisted diagnosis, surgical process management, smart dental integration, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) digital detection.
The event also featured an engaging series of AUO Expert Lectures where ecosystem partners shared their insights on 3D surgical robotics, AI-enabled medical data integration, and specialized sensing technologies for precision diagnosis, advancing next-generation healthcare innovations.
The AUO booth was a focal point of interest, and was privileged to host prominent dignitaries, including Hsiao Bi-Khim, the Vice President of the Republic of China, and Cho Jung-Tai, the President of the Executive Yuan.
ADP Debuts 3D Surgical Imaging Platform with Remote Surgical Robot Control
ADP debuted its "SurgiEyes – Robotic Surgery Real-time 3D Solution," a comprehensive platform enabling synchronized imaging inside operating rooms and remote locations. This platform enhances surgical precision by providing synchronized 3D operation images across medical displays and devices for the surgical team. It also facilitates real-time streaming of images to remote locations, creating new possibilities for training, consultation, and telemedicine.
In collaboration with Riverfield, ADP simulated an operating room scenario featuring 3D surgical procedures using SurgiEyes and the Saroa Robotic Surgery System, which made its debut in Taiwan. To showcase its advanced capabilities, real-time remote control of the surgical robot was demonstrated through live remote connections with Japan.
Ecosystem Collaborations Reveal AI-assisted Surgical Process Management and Diagnosis
ADP showcased a range of comprehensive solutions for surgical process management and AI-assisted diagnosis, developed through ecosystem partnerships. In collaboration with imedtac, the Smart Surgical Scheduling System was introduced to improve operating room turnover, alongside the Automated Dispensing Cabinet for enhanced medication safety.
The partnership with JTBTech featured the Surgical Instruments Security AI Solution, leverages AI image recognition to optimize surgical instrument management and reduce preparation time. Additionally, ADLINK demonstrated the Respiratory Monitoring Solution that alerts surgical teams to breathing abnormalities during surgical procedures.
Finally, in collaboration with JelloX Biotech and National Cheng Kung University, ADP launched the Digital Pathology 3D Imaging AI Solution and the Otitis Media Diagnosis AI Solution, showcasing the power of AI-assisted integration in diagnostics.
DentLabX Drives Digital Transformation in Dentistry with Smart Dental Lab Management Suite
ADP’s subsidiary DentLabX debuted its Smart Dental Lab Management Suite, addressing the aging population-driven demand for dentures and labor shortages. With the cross-platform App, it streamlines communication between dental labs and clinics, accelerating denture fabrication and digital transformation, optimizing production processes, and boosting operational efficiencies.
AUO Health Bridges Tradition and Tech with Taiwan’s First Portable Pulse Detector
AUO Health unveiled two groundbreaking advancements at the exhibition. First, the debut of Taiwan’s first portable pulse detector, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Digital Detection Solution, which revolutionizes TCM diagnostics by replicating the ancient pulse measurement techniques with modern precision. Second, AUO Health introduced its generative AI-driven TCM AI system, which analyzes pulse data and patient histories to deliver personalized health insights. Together, these innovations underscore AUO Health’s mission to digitize and popularize traditional practices while preserving their cultural essence.
